Big Ideas. Great Results.

Contextual Inquiry
To prepare for our interviews we first needed to decide who we wanted to interview and why. As a group, we thought that it would be best to interview students and faculty that we knew went to the gym, regardless of how often because they would likely be the users of our application. We then workshopped a couple questions that would help us get to the base of our problem as designers.

As a group, we were able to implement a survey that totaled 40+ answers in the Facebook 2020 Class group page. In addition, we all obtained 2-3 interview answers from students and faculty at the gym. Most of our interviews were recorded in Voice Memo which we later on wrote down into a Google document.
Contextual Analysis
WAAD Diagram
Our WAAD Diagram allows us to understand how different gyms around UMDÂ have different problems or patterns that are consistent. We have collected data that allows us to divvy up our diagram into diffeent categories to allow someone who is not in this class to comprehend our data analysis.

WorkFlow Diagram
We made progress in class by identifying what types of information we need, who we are collecting data from, and what is involved outside of our environment. We decided that we wanted to implement different off-campus gyms such as TerpRow, View, and Alloy. In addition, we decided that we must factor real data into our application in order to predict peak hours and availability.

Google Form Survey
Terp Time used a Google survey to allow us to understand what our consumers want within their application. It is important to comprehend accuractely what they are looking for as we can give them propositions or varaitions of what they are looking for.
